    Janis & Mia started La Bella Baskets & Gifts in 2009 with one simple dream in mind – to bring joy and smiles to people’s lives.

    Janis recalls, when she was a senior in high school, her parents were going through a really rough year and she wasn’t expecting any graduation gifts. I’ll never forget the day that I got home from high school and there was a beautiful gift basket that a neighbor had delivered to her. I’m sure my neighbor knew the challenges that my parents were going through. The note said: Please accept this gift and I hope it brings you joy and smiles. That gift changed everything for me. It meant that strangers cared about me and I promised myself that someday I was going to do the same for others.

    Little did I know that years down the road I was going to start a gift company that delivers gift baskets, personalized gifts, flowers, plantable greeting cards, candles and sterling silver jewelry to people all over the United States. It feels great to know that we are delivering joy and smiles into people’s lives!

    Mia adds that this business has blessed them with so many opportunities. We are able to give back. We started a La Bella Baskets of Smiles program that delivers a beautiful gift basket to single moms. We get to work with thousands of Gift Boutique consultants who have embraced and live out our vision. These consultants run their own business doing what they love as they help others deliver joy and smiles – just like what we love to do! Our company means so much to us and we are so happy we have many who have embraced and understand our mission.
